News from the Principal
Dear Parents, Guardians and Carers,
Melissa Morris has decided to have a change in career and will be opening a clothing/homewares store in November in the Traralgon CBD. Whilst exciting for her, sadly it means she will be leaving us at the end of this term. As a result of this staffing change we are currently advertising two Administrative Officer positions to start in Term Four.
- Administrative Officer (Compliance)
- First Aid Officer
Further information including position descriptions and how to apply can be found in the careers tab on our school website. Applications close August 28th at 9am.
Eisteddfod - Monday 28th August
Next week all students will be performing in the Latrobe Valley Eisteddfod. This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to experience and we are thankful to the teachers and Mrs Vanyai for their preparation. It has been wonderful walking around the school and hearing the children sing their item and rehearse as a group. On Monday, the children are to wear their full school uniform (not sports uniform). Grey shorts or pants, tunics or skirts may be worn with the red polo shirt. Jumpers and jackets will not be required on stage. Students are to wear their black school shoes and for those classes who have Sport specialists on Monday, please bring your sneakers in your school bag.
Parents are warmly welcome to come to the Traralgon Town Hall on Grey Street to watch the performances. There is usually a small fee, around $5, to enter. If you are coming to watch, please note, the DOORS WILL CLOSE AT 10AM. Please get there early as last year people were disappointed that they weren't able to get in.
