Human Dignity

In the 3/4 AB students have been following in the footsteps of Jesus by brainstorming ways they can show human dignity to people in our school community.

They have been working very hard in term 3 to put together different ways they can do this. The children have provided more information on each of their projects below and there will be posters around the school.

Any help and support would be greatly appreciated.

A group of students from 3/4AB are making a Kindness Letter Box. We have been learning about Human Dignity and ways that we can show it. It will be in the quiet area and there will also be one in Micks Kitchen for the children and adults that go there. It will start in Week 1 Term 4. If you're feeling down we have kindness quotes and letters in a box that you will be able to take. Please inform your children about this and we will be speaking in Assembly about it as well. “Kindness in any way can really make someone's day’’.

Thanks, Rose, Grace and Tayla on behalf of the Kindness Letter Group! 3/4AB

Hi parents,

A small group of 3/4 A and B students are making sock balls to raise money for Cambodia. If you could please bring in any old socks to 3/4 AB to help contribute to our sock ball making collection that would be awesome thank you. The sock balls made will be sold for 50 cents at break 1 and 2 in the school's quiet area for those who want to help raise money for a good cause! Thank you for your kind donations. We hope to help as many people as we can.

-Blake M, Noah M, Nixon, Zach and Ollie S.

We are learning about human dignity in classes 3/4AB and we decided to make a knitting and crochet club to share the love for people who may need something.

We would appreciate wool/ yarn donations. Knitting needles and crochet hooks will help us a lot.

Once we have made the items we will have a stall out the front of St Michaels hall Traralgon and inside  St Vincent De Paul Society Traralgon,  so you can come and get something that would be useful for you or your family. You can only get 1 item per week. We are giving away Beanies, Scarves, Blankets, Bracelets and animals. You are welcome to come by and get something. We are open Monday to Friday 8:30 am  till 3:20pm.

Yours Sincerely The Knitting and Crochet Club

BE HAPPY, BE WARM, BE KIND

Hi Parents,

3/4 AB are trying to show human dignity around our school. We are starting a Book Swap where you can bring in a preloved book that you no longer use anymore and swap it for another book.

You must bring a book to be able to take a book.

The Book shelf will be located outside 3/4 AB’s classroom. We can't wait to see people using it!
