On the Second Sunday of Advent the gospel reminds us that it is time to get ready for the coming of our saviour, Jesus Christ. We read of John the Baptist, God’s messenger, who was sent to tell people to change their ways and turn back to God. Advent is a good time to look at our lives and make a fresh start if we need. Spend some time this week showing the important lessons of love and peace in your family. What can your family do to help others in our community who are in need?This is perhaps the greatest gift that we could give to our children this year. This is how we change the world - one family at a time.
