We would like to thank everyone for bringing in lids and bread clips to be recycled.  We collected boxes full of lids and bread clips last term and would like to collect even more this term.   We send the bread clips and bottle lids to Federation Children's Centre.  The bread clips are recycled, and funds from this are used to supply wheelchairs to South Africa.  The bottle lids are used by plastic manufacturers to make children's play equipment, sensory toys and gardening equipment. 

The pictures show our Term 2 collection and what we can recycle. On top of recycling lids, we are hopefully going to make a mural to brighten up our school using lids.  For this project, we can use any size and colour lids.
