Mk 13:24 - 32

There is much about life that we don’t know, including the time when we will die. This week's readings assure us that we need not be afraid. If we belong to Jesus and try to live our lives according to his law of love, then we will, like the prophet Daniel tells us, shine like beautiful stars forever. God sent his son as our way and our life. He hears our prayers and helps us to live our lives caring for others. At the end of time, Jesus will return in power and glory and will welcome all those who have been chosen to join him in the kingdom of heaven.
