Dear Parents, Guardians and Carers,

The staff and students remembered the events of Holy Week this year with two paraliturgies. We gathered together in the last week of Term 1 to celebrate Palm Sunday, the Last Supper on Holy Thursday and the crucifixion of Jesus on Good Friday. After the holidays we gathered again to celebrate Jesus’ resurrection on Easter Sunday.

In preparation for our liturgies the children worked with their class to investigate what happened during these events and who was there. They then prepared photos to represent the story of Jesus’ death and resurrection. The children participated in the liturgies through prayer, reflection and song. They were respectful and reflective in our celebrations.
