Families… like diamonds – have endured many Different shapes 

Over the centuries the treasure, 

The gift that is family 

Is precious, irreplaceable, unique. 

Creating strong family bonds is a slow process –

 there Needs to be much giving and accepting, 

Forgiving and healing, Illuminated with love… 

Families… enable the individual to grow, 

To move and form other families. 

Forming families takes Courage, skill, and commitment… Imagining beauty… and mystery. 

Families… have the power… To reflect…’rainbow’ qualities Of each person 

And to be shining light for others. 

A family may be lost but not destroyedIt 

can be discovered and reformed all over again… 

The search for the perfect family could mean… 

A person may miss seeing 

The beauty in the family they already have.

Just a reminder that we are holding our 2023 Foundation Information night this evening for new and existing families. The session will begin in the hall at 7pm where information regarding the school will be shared. This will be followed by a school tour led by our school and house captains where staff will be present in their classrooms. 

Congratulations to ex- students Holly Pritchard and Miley Affleck who as a part of the Lavalla year 8 relay team won bronze in the freestyle relay at the ssv secondary schools championships.
