The gospel this week continues with the theme of Jesus caring for his’ flock. Jesus says “I know my sheep and they follow me.” Jesus knows and loves each one of us just like a shepherd with his sheep. The readings talk about listening to God’s message and putting our faith in God. Jesus is the Good Shepherd who will care for us, protect us and show us the way to everlasting happiness - this is the promise that He makes in this week's gospel. Reflect on how much time you take to listen to God? How do you respond? This is a really important conversation that you can have with your children …… Are we a follower of Jesus? How can we be a messenger of the Good News in 2022?
