This week’s readings have a strong theme of humility. In the gospel, Jesus calls us to act with humility - but what does that truly mean?  To be humble is to be modest in the way that we act and go about our day. It’s not about being boastful in our actions or making it seem like we are deserving of special attention. However, it would be wrong to down-play our skills and abilities …….. these too are important! God loves each of us in the same way and calls us to be His disciples on earth. We are called to be attentive to the needs of others, and not always think of ourselves first.
